Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Coral Springs is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. ⭐⭐⭐ We recently visited Coral Springs Aquatic Complex to have our children evaluated for swim levels. Both of our girls have been taking swimming lessons at the YMCA for several years, so we wanted to see how their skills would be evaluated according to this facility’s level system. It was interesting to learn that swim levels can vary quite a bit between different programs, so the assessment was helpful. The staff was polite and the pool itself looked nice. However, the registration process is extremely difficult. There are only a few groups available for preschool-age children, and we were told that people sometimes arrive as early as 5:30 AM and wait in line, and even then may not get a spot. We were also told that after the preliminary assessment, younger preschoolers can register online. We completed the assessment in September, but the earliest available registration was not until October. We had a less successful experience when we brought our older daughter for her assessment on another day. We were told that the pool was closed because of a thunderstorm in the area. What was confusing was that the weather around us was completely clear at the time. We were given a QR co

Before walking in I already knew I was going to be met with a RACIST encounter. I came to get a code to register my 7 year for swimming lessons. The staff Michelle Kania immediately started going on a rant about how she was so busy already processing codes and that registration begins tomorrow. Per their website the code should be requested 24 hours in advance. Which is why I arrived today, 24 hours prior to registering. She tried to tell me that every code she was issuing was for the same class time and pool, which is not the case. There are several classes and pools available for registration. And if registration begins on 7/21 and goes on throughout the day there is no reason why I would not be considered as arriving 24 hours in advance. Extremely nasty inconsiderate people. I will be taking this complaint as far as possible. The only issue here is that I am black and using a water smart voucher. The supervisor also was incompetent.

Great pools, high dives, spring boards, training apparatus, gym, swim classes, it's really extravagant, and a very large set up and grounds. Olympic competition worthy! Very pretty, well kept and clean. HOWEVER- They seem to HATE the ADA and handicapped people. They have ZERO handicapped parking on the east side GYM entrance, no ramp access at all, only at the front. The handicapped parking is way off West end of parking lot, very far from the front entrance. The gym is the farthest thing on the east side, the lockers are on the far West side, public lap pool is on the farthest east side, and again parking is farthest west. So a wheelchair has a long way to go from parking to main entrance, even longer to gym, almost the entire area back to lockers, and then same far distance back to public (lap) pool. Post workout n swim; then all the way back to lockers, and then way west for the only handicapped parking. You don't even need the gym/pool, traversing all that distance is a workout alone. They most certainly already have adequate space to convert- really should make a gym side ramp, handicapped parking, & small ADA locker room, for disabled M/W on the side with both gym and publ

Great experience at Coral Springs Aquatic Complex! The pools are clean, the environment is safe, and everything is very well run. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the facility top-notch. Running a service-based business like UltraTechX, where we focus on quality and fast turnaround for iPhone repair near me searches, I can really appreciate how well this place is managed. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex! The facility is extremely clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both families and serious swimmers. The pools are top-tier, and the staff is professional, friendly, and always attentive to safety. Whether you're coming in for lap swimming, swim lessons, or just a relaxing day, this place really stands out as one of the best aquatic centers in Coral Springs. Plenty of seating, great amenities, and a very organized environment. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a high-quality pool experience in South Florida!
